Income tax returns for individuals (IT12)
We aim to provide you with a tax estimate 10 workings days after we have received all the necessary information.
Basic Fee: R550*Add the following fee/s to the basic fee if one or more of the following are applicable:

  • More than 3 IRP5s:  R100 per additional IRP5
  • Travel allowance/Company car:  R400 for the first vehicle (client to provide logbook for each vehicle used)
  • Per additional vehicle: R100
  • Rental income (1 property): R550 for the first property (client to provide rental schedule)
  • Per additional property: R100
  • Claims against commission / independent contractor income: R700
  • Interest, dividend or REIT income ( if more than threshold): R100
  • Lump sums received: R200
  • Capital gains calculation: R200. Where we have to calculate the capital gain/loss R350
  • Donations:  s18A Deductions: R50
  • Subsistence allowance deductions (client to provide schedule): R150
  • Statement of assets and liabilities: R100

*Basic fee:

Prepare tax estimate, complete and submit final tax return, or part thereof for South African tax residents. Medical aid, income protection and retirement annuity deductions are included in the fee.

The basic fee will increase with and additional R600 from 15 October  – 31 October 2018.

Non-residents: Please contact us regarding the fee.

The following fees are applicable after submission of the final tax return, if any:

      • Submit supporting documents to SARS: R100
      • Lodge objection (per objection): R750
      • Recalculating of tax estimate due to incomplete info supplied by client: R300
      • Re-submission of income tax return due to o/s info supplied by client (excluding lodge of objection): R550
      • Loading of payments to SARS on your behalf: R100
      • Provisional tax returns: R200(where client accepts SARS’ estimate)/R500(where we have to prepare a calculation)
      • Admin fee of 3% or R50 whichever is the highest, should client deposit any tax money into our account.  This fee does not include the loading of payments on the client’s behalf fee.
      • SARS audits:  subject to time spent.

Example 1: Client receives only basic salary, bonus, contributed towards medical aid and retirement annuity. Our fee: basic fee:  R550
Example 2: But provide  information only  on 15 October 2018. Our basic fee R1,150
Example 3: Client receives only basic salary, bonus, contributed towards medical aid and retirement annuity and SARS requested supporting documents. Or fee: basic fee (R550) + submit supporting documents fee (R100). Total:R600
Example 4: Client received remuneration including travel allowance and wish to claim against allowance. Our fee: basic fee (R550) + travel allowance fee (R400). Total:R950
Example 5: Client received remuneration and rental income. Our fee: basic fee (R550) + rental income (R550). Total: R1,100
Example 6: Client received remuneration, wish to claim against travel allowance and received R24 000 of interest and dividends. Our fee: basic fee (R550) + travel allowance fee (R400) + interest and dividends fee (R100). Total: R1,050

Our fee is payable once we provide the client with a tax estimate or invoice, whichever occurs first. Once payment is received and cleared by the bank, the income tax return will be submitted.

Payroll

 

  • Payroll run and payslip: R65 per employee.
  • Completion and submission of monthly declaration to SARS (EMP201): R270 per return.
  • Employer’s PAYE reconciliation (EMP501): R950.

Above prices excludes VAT at 15 %. Our invoices are payable on delivery.

Statutory regulations / documents
  • Registration as an employer (PAYE & UIF): R750
  • Compensation Commissioner: R450
  • VAT Registration: R1,100
  • Income tax registration (companies, close corporations, trusts): R750

Above fees exclude VAT and any direct cost, if any, and may change without notification. Fees are payable in advance.

Payment terms and conditions

By sending information to Oschmann Accounting and or its employees, the Client expressly request Oschmann Accounting to assist the Client with his/her tax affairs and or accounting services and or any other services and acknowledge that Oschmann Accounting’s fees are due and payable once Oschmann Accounting provide the Client with the tax estimate or documents or statements or invoice, whichever occurs first. Fees are listed on the website (www.oschmann.co.za/fees).
The risk of payment by cheque through the post or by electronic funds transfer rests with the Client. The Client has no right to withhold payment for any reason whatsoever and agrees that any extension of time given for payment shall be valid only if reduced to writing and signed by the Client and a duly authorised representative of Oschmann Accounting.
All discounts shall be forfeited if payment in full is not made on the due date. Interest, legal and /or recovery costs will be for the Client’s account.
The Client agrees that if an account is not settled in full Oschmann Accounting is entitled to, among other, to forward a letter of demand using a third party demanding full and final payment.
Outstanding accounts are subject to default listing on a national credit bureau database.
The Client also consents that the Oschmann Accounting may use a national credit bureau database for tracing, should the Client abscond.
The Client hereby agrees that should they default on payment, that Oschmann Accounting can make this information available to the industry and affiliated businesses.
These terms and conditions shall remain in place until cancelled by either party in writing. Oschmann Accounting may amend these terms and conditions from time to time without prior notification.
